Marketing Manager
Shannan manages our digital marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing and Google services, for all of our clients as an agency as well as for our two companies. Shannan has experience in numerous business ventures over the past 12 years, interacting through several networking groups, and various volunteer work in the community. She is a graduate from Colorado Technical University with her bachelors in Information Technology and Global Marketing. She loves digital marketing and considers herself a marketing enthusiast and networking fanatic. She is passionate about marketing, social media, football/baseball, local events, wine tasting, her husband and three kids, gardening, and outdoor activities including camping, kayaking, fishing and being lazy by the lake.
What inspires you?
At work it’s curiosity and the on-going learning that goes into digital marketing and search engine optimization procedures. The ability to grow my clients business and see the positive experiences. At home, my kids and how their ambitions push them to be great human beings.
What’s some items on your “bucket list”
Do people have these? Maybe if I get my kids out of the house I could have a list and retire before I’m 90. But for real, I would love to sail the world with my husband and own a ranch for rescue animals that included exotic and farm animals….and of course dogs too.
If you could travel anywhere this year, where would you go?
I’ve traveled a lot throughout the United States, I’ve been on a cruise through the Eastern Caribbean but one place I would love to go is the Western Caribbean and Jamaica, and take a month long trip to visit all of the islands in that region.
What was your 1st ever job? Did you like it?
So, I’m not quite sure what my actual first job was, I did a bunch of odd and end jobs, such as babysitting, farm chores and animal care. I guess my first corporate job would have been Wendy’s and no I didn’t enjoy it particularly. I love digital marketing and working in the marketing and creative field.
What is one of your favorite things to do outside of work, why?
Our family loves to camp. We rustic camp all over Michigan, campgrounds are way over rated, we like to unplug and enjoy nature. My family likes to kayak, boat and fish. Mainly anything outside or by the water. when we have the chance. I love to ride and spend time with horses, and my dogs.
What is your dream car?
Well I don’t really have a desire to have a fancy car, what I do have is horses, which could be as much or more than a dream car. My idea would be to have team of horses mixed between Gypsy and Friesian, Arabians and Appaloosas. They are amazing creatures, and very loyal and smart.
Do you have any pets, if not, what would be your ultimate pet?
I have many pets, depending on the month, we foster and rescue elderly dogs and dogs that would otherwise not be adopted due to medical issues. Tucker is our forever dog we’ve had him since 8 weeks old and he loves all of his foster siblings.
If you could only have one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
Redbull. (period) Maybe some egg rolls too….
What are your favorite shows or movies?
I love watching Handmaids, Game of Thrones, House, Dark (Hulu) and The Walking Dead. My husband and I love the old original horror movies and comedies from the 70’s and 80’s. We also enjoy all of the Criminal Minds, and police shows.
