Adding Email Account to the Gmail App on Android Phones

Before opening your Gmail app, ensure you have your email username (this will be the full email address), password, and website domain ready.

Open the Gmail App, or download it if your phone does not already have it installed.

Select the option to add an account.

If you already have accounts set up, you’ll need to navigate to the Settings menu, and select Add Account.

On the next page, select “Other” from the list of email host options.

Enter your full email address, and select “Manual Setup”.

Select the “Personal (IMAP)” option.

Enter the password for the email account.

On the “Incoming server settings” page, you’ll need to update the “Server” text field to be:
mail.spectrumcpanel.com

On the “Outgoing server settings” page, you’ll need to update the “SMTP Server” text field to also be:
mail.spectrumcpanel.com

If everything is configured correctly, the account will start syncing emails, and you’ll be prompted to finish your email client preferences.
